The Staff, the Board, and the members of the Events Committee have been busy adapting to the recent and continuously evolving global pandemic realities. Stillwaters has made cuts to its 2020 budget, postponed non-essential field monitoring activities, cancelled a fundraiser planned for this spring, and modified its plans for the fall fundraiser. The Events Committee is working on contingency plans to address the variety of likely restrictions governing gatherings. Melissa and our volunteers are using time they would normally be spending in the field to digitize paper data and conduct analyses to reveal how lower Carpenter Creek has been changing since natural tidal flow was fully re-established in 2018.
